Our story
We spent a collective 35 years in nonprofit executive leadership, doing hard and joyful stuff with people we love and respect. When it came time to apply some of that experience and practice in a different way through consulting we recognized we wanted to be the kinds of consultants we wished we’d had. Listeners. Doers. Follow-throughers. Thought partners. Sounding boards. And really good at moving work and processes forward that center people. So that’s what we’re doing.
Tangible good stuff
We feel very strongly about delivering tangible good stuff to our clients. That includes strategic plans with implementation plans, concrete tools for major gifts fundraising, simple and straightforward plans for capital campaigns, organizational development tools that really work and don't overcomplicate. We're here to get into the nitty gritty with you, and take on chunks of the work, not just give you advice about what to do. Four Stones Consulting helped Open Your Heart develop a community‑centered strategic plan grounded in meaningful input from stakeholders, board members, and staff.
